Our sole focus is to represent the firm(s) by protecting the scope, schedule and budget. We create a positive and focused environment with the mission to deliver the final space in a timely fashion while meeting the client’s project goals.
CHUCK
FOUNDER / PRESIDENT
Chuck Richardson is the founder and President of CIG Consulting in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Richardson founded CIG in 2018 to provide a personalized client experience and team approach to project management. Chuck provides his team with exceptional leadership through fostering a collaborative culture and leading by example.
Background:
Chuck is an Atlanta area and graduate of the University of Georgia. After earning his degree from UGA, he completed his Project Management Certificate from the University of Texas Dallas along with graduate level business courses at Piedmont College. Chuck met his wife during his time at Georgia and they now reside in Decatur with their three children.
Mr. Richardson has over 15 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate. Mr.
Richardson has directly managed over 2.5 million square feet of commercial space, with a
managed spend totaling over $250 million.
Responsibilities:
Along with his executive responsibilities as President of CIG, Mr. Richardson oversees the day to day operations of complex multi-discipline projects. Mr. Richardson focus is the representation of corporations during tenant build-outs and capital improvement projects. His responsibilities include project budgeting, scheduling, program management, project management, business transition, and procurement. In addition to commercial office work, Mr. Richardson also performs due diligence for real estate developers, environmental consulting, as well as project management for the hospitality, medical, retail and industrial sectors.
Hobbies:
Chuck is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He spends most of his time sharing the outdoors with his kids whether it be on the lake skiing, fly fishing or simply hiking and camping. Chuck is also a huge sports fan with his favorite team being whichever his kids are playing for at the time.

ADAM
PARTNER / EVP
Adam Powell is a partner and the Executive Vice President of CIG Consulting. Adam focuses on the operations and logistics of Project Management for CIG. He's analytical and witty which makes him a very clever and amusing person. Adam is the type of guy that everyone wants on their team.
Background:
Adam grew up all over the south-east region of the US. As another true Bulldog, he attended the University of Georgia to pursue a degree in real estate.
Prior to CIG, he has a diverse background of over 15 years in real estate, development and project management having past served as the Regional Director for a land development group as well as leadership within a large global real estate services firm. Adam also actively managed one of the largest occupied renovations in the Atlanta area for Georgia Pacific, overseeing the full demolition and build-back of 520,000SF.
How he operates:
Adam is an outgoing and ambitious person who is rigidly organized and straight-forward. He approaches things in a logistical and analytical manner. Adam is skillful at finding solutions to complex problems and combatting a clever plan to get through any challenge.
Hobbies:
Adam loves to play golf whenever he can. When he is not on the golf course, he is likely enjoying quality time with his family.

MATT
VP, PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Matt Nama is the Vice President of Project Management for CIG Consulting. Mr Nama joined the CIG team in 2022 with the focus of representing the market’s most prominent brokers, landlords, and end user clients. Through his diverse background, he brings a wealth of project experience to clients of all sizes and industries.
Background:
Having been born and raised in Georgia, Matt has seen the development of Atlanta first-hand. Growing up in a family of builders, he spent the majority of his summers learning project trades.. After college, Matt enlisted in the GA Air National Guard where he continues to serve in a drill status 15 years later. Matt’s construction experiences include working as a general contractor in both a Superintendent and Project Manager role. His resume also includes working with multiple commercial real estate firms from which he established a noteworthy reputation representing both occupier and investor clients. Throughout his experiences, he has worked in nearly every segment of the market to include government, office, restaurant/retail, industrial, and multifamily.
Responsibilities: Matt is responsible for ensuring CIG project management services are consistent, value driven, and above all else - client focused. He is also deeply vested with the daily training and development of our team’s junior personnel. Another key responsibility of Matt’s is to build and foster client relationships ensuring that our services are bar none.
Hobbies: Similar to his coworkers, Matt enjoys just about every outdoor activity as long as he is with friends or family. Whether it is losing golf balls on a course or boating on the lake, he actively seeks a good time. Lastly, Matt is also an active volunteer in his community and a coach of a travel baseball team.
ALYSSA
ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER
Alyssa is an Associate Project Manager at CIG Consulting. She is an excellent communicator who is organized and decisive. Ms. Bettinger is eager to continue learning and growing, striving to be better each day.
Background:
Alyssa was born and raised along the Emerald Coast in Destin, Florida. Ms. Bettinger has been developing strong leadership skills for most of her young life. Alyssa attended Florida State University and later earned her Project Management Certificate from Columbia University. She moved to Atlanta in 2021 to join CIG as an Associate Project Manager. Alyssa is focused on meeting new people and building relationships. She is a member of CREW Atlanta as well as CoreNet Global, serving on the Young Leaders Committee.
Responsibilities:
Since joining CIG, Ms. Bettinger has assisted clients with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement. Alyssa is responsible for managing a working team during a project by tracking their responsibilities and progress. Ms. Bettinger analyzes projects through identifying risks, forming risk mitigation plans, and communicates action items to the team. In addition, Alyssa oversees CIG’s Move Management Program.
Hobbies:
Alyssa is an adventurer at heart. She loves traveling, experiencing new places, and meeting people. Some of her favorite things to do are going on hikes, playing golf and tennis, practicing yoga, and trying new restaurants. Since moving to Atlanta, Alyssa has enjoyed exploring what all this city has to offer.
CAPE
ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER
Cape is an Associate Project Manager at CIG Consulting. He is a versatile learner who enjoys working with teams to develop effective and timely solutions.
Background
As a Georgia local, Cape grew up in Norcross before moving closer into the city around the Brookhaven area. After graduating from the Marist School in Atlanta, Cape continued his education at the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Cape earned his BBA in Marketing and Certificate of Entrepreneurship through the Terry College of Business as well as watching his Dawgs win two national championships. After graduating college, Cape joined CIG as an associate project manager.
Responsibilities
Cape joined the team as an intern/project coordinator during the summer of 2022. Since this time, he has been responsible for creating budgets, mapping out schedules, engaging with clients, and developing further connections in the real estate market. He is also responsible for assisting and managing projects from initial client communication all the way through the closeout process. Cape focuses on implementing a team-driven approach to solving problems and finding solutions.
Hobbies
If the name didn’t give it away, Cape loves being by the coast. Whether it's on the beach, a back porch, or a boat, Cape is always happy when there's an ocean breeze. He can also be found cheering on the Dawgs on a Saturday or enjoying the Battery on a Brave’s gameday.
